Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette & It Cosmetics CC Cream

If you don't have Too Faced Chocolate Bar (the 1st one) you need to get it. I love that palette as it smells like yummy chocolate and it's very pigmented. It also blends very well. With that said lets talk about Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette, thank you to my God sister who gifted both palettes to me on my birthday and Christmas. Again this palette smells like chocolate because it's made out of coco powder. It is very pigmented, blends like magic and all the colors goes together. Between the two palette I like them both differently. The 2nd one supposed to be warmer tones but I would have to say it is a balance of warm and cool tone. I like both palettes and recommend them both, but if you have to choose one. I think the 2nd one is much more everyday colors and you can use that 1 blue color as a pop of color, blending as a liner on the bottom lash line and still works for everyday or you can use the dark brown/black shade as eye liner on top and bottom line. Now for the It Cosmetics CC Cream, what more can I say than I LOVE THIS CC CREAM and been wanting it for over 6 months when my co-worker lend me hers, thank you to my friend's mom who gifted this to me on Christmas. I didn't think I would like it that much as it's kind of dewy but actually I love it because it looks natural and not "cakey". I am Oily Combination skin and I like medium to full coverage. And this CC Cream is medium coverage and is buildable to full coverage, minimizes the look of pores, very light scent and does not irritate my skin. The color is very natural (I use the shade: Light and it is still dark for me in the winter but would be perfect once spring and summer comes around) and the product is loaded with beneficial ingredients. Best of all it has SPF 50+ which protects my skin from the sun from causing sun spots and wrinkles, it also have moisturizer containing snail secretion - very often used in Korean skincare, you can see my pervious post on the 2 items I am currently using that also contain snail. Only thing is I would recommend powdering your face after the foundation. It comes in a pump form so that is a plus in my book. I absolutely love this product and totally recommend it. Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Review

Charlotte Tilbury Makeup have created one of the best makeup I've tried. I have the Bronzer and Highlighter called Film Star Bronze and Glow, Blusher in Cheek to Chic, Lip liner in Pillow Talk, Lipstick in Bitch Perfect and Lip-gloss in Seduction (and Mascara and the liquid eyeliner which is not future in this picture because I am using up all my current one so they don't dry out). Let me go into more details about each of the products I've used so far.

Bronzer and Highlighter called Film Star Bronze and Glow

I read and watched many videos about this one product. Before I read about this I wanted this bronzer and highlighter combo because I love the packaging [Rose gold packaging made me jump for joy!!!] and the highlighter looks so beautiful online (Nordstrom). Then I started watching a few YouTube videos people mentioning how much they love it and read reviews with mix opinions on the bronzer and highlighter. But non the less I still wanted this product.

I just got this a few days ago and the packaging was so creative and not like any I've seen before. There's two sleeve that holds the inside packaging together and when you open it you see the beautiful rose gold packaging. When I first open it I was a bit surprised that the bronzer had a slight shimmer but the highlighter is so beautiful with golden undertone shimmer, I couldn't wait to use it. The next day I tried the bronzer which I was a bit scared of because of the shimmer which I expected it to enhance my pores but it didn't it looked so pretty, it blends like butter and you cannot see any of the shimmer on my face. It just makes my face look glowy in a non greasy way and the highlighter is beautiful like candlelight glow. The two combine makes me look like I got kiss by the sun. I was in love with this product and totally recommend buying this if you don't have any bronzer or highlighter yet or was just thinking of getting it.

Blusher in Cheek to Chic is a more mauve pink with a little peachy undertone. Of the few my friend order and show me, this is one of my top favorite. I mean I want them all, but glad this is the first one I have. Again, this blends so beautiful and it is nicely pigmented. You don't have to worry about having a heavy hand because it will blend so nicely and it doesn't come off too dark. Been wearing this every time I put on my makeup! Must have!

Lip liner in Pillow Talk is a nude pink lip liner that is in all the kit. So my friend just got me this shade which I don't mind because NUDE and PINK are my color per previous post on nude lipsticks. Again this lip liner is very creamy and easy to draw on my lip without tugging. I love it and would use it with any lipstick I use or on its own.

Lipstick in Bitch Perfect is a pinkish nude. More pink than nude. At first I had Penelope Pink which is nude lipstick. I have lots of nudes and wanted something more pink that I can wear with Smokey eyes or natural makeup. So I asked for Bitch Perfect, and I love it. It's smooth and creamy that hydrate my lips instead of drying it out after a few hour. The lipstick also last long unless you are eating greasy food. LOVE LOVE LOVE and a must have. I want all the shade but the next one I want is in Confession!

Lip-gloss in Seduction is a nude lip-gloss which is very pigmented, creamy, and not sticky. I am surprised about this lip-gloss because I would think it would be more sheer or sticky but it is non of that and it help hide the lines on my lip.

I have to say THANK YOU God sister for this Christmas Gift. I love it so much that it took me a while to finally use it because I didn't want to mess it up. Every time I wear these products from Charlotte Tilbury I feel pretty. Thank you Charlotte Tilbury for creating these beautiful products that is easy to use. Meme Box Thoughts

Back in January 2013 Sam Schureman spoke about Meme Box on her YouTube. It is a beauty subscription box with all Korean products majority full size item. I then subscribe to Meme Box for 6 months. $23.99 per month + $6.99 Shipping from Korea. I wished I have taken a picture of each of my boxes. However, I would have to say the first 2 boxes I was kind of disappointed because of the content inside was nothing I really interested and of 6 item only 3 were full size. This was when Meme Box was starting to get big. But the remaining 4 boxes was not to bad, there were a few that I was very excited about (50 to 70% of the box). Along with the 6 meme box I also bought about 2-3 more specialty boxes. (Exp. Holika Holika, Banilla Co., Super Box) And again some items disappointed me and some are quite a surprise. I have to say Meme Box have come along way. The website have changed at least 6 times since I've been checking out the site and what I like most is that they are now USA based in San Francisco for some of their products so you can get them faster if you shop under USA Shop and if you send about $39.99 you get free shipping. So I bought a few individual items that I was very curious about and of all the one I have gotten, I like them a lot. There was 1 item that I bought from memebox.com that was a lot cheaper than other website like amazon etc.

I have to say I like Korean products are pretty good. They smell good, don't break me out and does what it says. I think if you are interested in Korean products and want to choose you own check out Meme Box USA Shop. But if you want them to surprise you subscribe for 1 Meme Box but don't get too disappointed like I did. LOL

Here are 3 items that I bought from Meme Box that I love and would totally recommend to you.
MISSHA Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Skin Treatment - I use this like a toner and it helps my skin to hydrate and absorb my moisture. I notice my skin is much softer.

MISSHA Super Cell Renew Snail Sleeping Mask - I love this product. I use it once or twice a week after all my routine and the next day my skin is so soft I cannot stop touch my face. I would have to say this is even better than the Laneige Firming Sleeping Pack. I see that my skin texture improve as well. (Smell nice)

It's Skin Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Cream - First off, this is not a cream based product it's gel texture which is good for all skin type. Dry to Oily Skin, it will not brake you out because it's gel texture, if you want to learn more about the benefit of Hyaluronic Acid . I just got into this product and I am extremely excited to see the outcome.

Nail Polish Tips

I've always been the girl that always have nice nail. I didn't think I do until an old friend that I haven't hung out with for over 10 years meet up with me for lunch and she said what she remember of me is that I always have nice nail. I always have my nail done and every time she saw me I had something different on my nails. I though about that on my drive home and realized... I do, do my nails a lot and here's a tip to keep the nail polish longer.

When I do my nails, my nail polish usually looks good for 2-3 days at most because I have a very thin nails that break super easy.

For the fist 2-4 days I just have L'Oreal Doutzen's Nude on. (You can wear whatever color you want). But when my nails start to ware on the tips or have a slight chip on the tips, I would just add a little glitter French tip to keep it looking newly painted, example below I am using L'Oreal Whimsical. Rose gold tips. Then it last for a few days longer. (Glitter usually stay longer on my nails. About 4-5 days) Then I don't have to repaint all my nails which save time! [*Usually I use some sort of glitter polish that goes well with whatever I am wearing.] Try it out and let me know your thoughts.

Nude Lipsticks Review

So I decided to take a picture of some of my nude lipsticks that I have worn a lot this past 2014. (I have quite a few more that are not in the picture that I will provide my thoughts at the end of this blog post.)

I love to play with the eyes so for 2014. I been wearing a lot of "smokey eyes" look in brown, black, gray, blue, green, purple, so on and so forth. All smokey eyes and sometime I would tone it down a notch. But when I do flaunt my smokey look I think it's best pair with a nude lip because I don't want to look like a clown but it is also all about balance.

The type of "Nude" lipsticks I like are not too pale, with a tint of pink tone and brown tone in the mix. As you can see below there's 10 lipsticks in nude but every single one of time comes off a bit different.

From the back left to right:

Maybelline Nude Line

930 Truffle Tease - This is a darker nude family. It's has more of the brown tone with a very light hint of pink. Kind of the "in" darker shade of nude for 2015.

945 Stormy Sahara - This is more of a pink tone nude with a bit of peachy tone. Perfect for the purple smokey eyes.

920 Nude Lust - Of the 4 Maybelline Nude line that I bought, this is my favorite of them all. This is a perfect nude for my skin tone. (MAC NC20) This have a perfect balance of pink and brown tone, this is a perfect color that my lips does not look like dead corps (THANK GOD). This is my go to nude lipstick when I am not sure what I want to pare with my smokey look.

915 Blushing Beige - This one is more of the light pink tone nude. It can look corps like on me as I am more pale. But what I like to do with this shade is to top it on my darker nudes or other lipsticks that I don't want it to look so dark.

Maybelline Whisper 20 Mocha Muse - This is a share tone of with a shine, a mix color of Stormy Sahara and Nude Lust.

Front Left to Right

MAC Honeylove Matte - This is a beautiful matte nude lipsticks that is quite similar to Stormy Sahara but it is mat.

Revlon Nude Attitude Matte - This is very similar to Blushing Beige but it's matte and also dries out my lip.

Too Face Naked Dolly - This is one of my favorite lipstick as it's hydrating and very pretty. The color is a mixture of Nude Lust and Blushing Beige and it have a very beautiful shine. It's extremely moisturizing but you will have to apply it often.

YSL #2 Blond Sensuel - My #1 favorite lipstick because it is moisturizing it last long and when I put this on it makes me feel fancy. Maybe it is my most expensive nude lipstick and the packaging makes you feel special. The color of this is more of the Pink Nude it does not make you look like a dead corp. :) It is shiny and it also smell pretty. The brand, packaging, feel, look, and color is all worth the money. (Sometime you need 1 expensive lipsticks that when you put it on it makes you feel special like a billion dollar.)

Becca Eloise - Matte pink-ish peachy tone. Very pretty and a dupe with MAC Honeylove. This one is very pretty and since it is in a smaller tube it's more precise on application. Moisturizing even though it is matte formula.

The picture above was taken for instagram and my friend on Facebook said I should do a review on them. I recommend all of them. As you can see I do not like glitter or metallic but I do have one that is and feel like I should mention the remaining of my nudes.

Maybelline 715 Luminous Lilac - Is the only Metallic nude pink tone lipstick I have. After I got this I realized I dislike all metallic lipsticks. I have a few more metallic but after 2009 I never bought more. LOL I wore this a few time and sometime I use this on top of whatever lipstick I am wearing in the middle of my lips to help make it looks more plump. I use very little and I blend it in. (Good tips for lighter lipsticks or ones you hardly grab)

Revlon Soft Nude - Creamy Peachy tone nude, one if my all time favorite when I didn't have all the ones I mention above. LOL

Revlon Pink Cognito - I got this 2 years ago when it first came out. It looks a lot like my lips (My Lips But Better MLBB) I put it in the nudes because it not pink nor is it peach. Looks just like my lips and it's sheer.

L'Oreal Fairest Nude - This is my all time FAVORIATE DRUGSTORE NUDE. I either gave one to my mom, sister, God sister, best friend, friend, co-worker, friends friend or I recommended to them. Affordable pretty pinkish nude, it is creamy and have a nice shiny. It has a old lady smell to it but if you can pass the smell this is a must buy. (Oh and I have at least 3 back-ups as this is like my 4th tube)

Flower Cosmetic LS1 Set Me Freesia - A matte brown nude. Its not dark brown still wearable for lighter skin tone. I ware this more in the summer as my complexion is a shade or 2 darker.

Rimmel London 070 Airy Fairy - My other #1 FAVORIATE DRUGSTORE NUDE in more of a Pinkish tone. I call this nude because on everyone that tried it on it looks more nude. But on me it's slightly more pink. Over all, this was a MUST mention item. I love love love this lipstick as well. I too have either gave one to my mom, sister, God sister, best friend, friend, co-worker, friends friend or I recommended to them. Affordable pretty pinkish nude (More pink than L'Oreal), it is creamy and have a nice shiny. There's a very small bit of golden glitter in this lipstick but you don't see it. And I think that's what makes it look so good. Every time I wear this lipstick I almost always get complement or asked what brand and color it is. MUST BUY.

Urban Decay Naked - I got this as a gift for my birthday last year and I was so excited. It's a beautiful lipstick. Smells nice, apply nice, long lasting even though it is moisturizing. Phis is a pinkish nude like L'Oreal but not as pink as the Rimmel London.

Hourglass Nude #6 - I got this from work. This is a brown tone nude as dark or darker than Truffle Tease. Moisturizing, but because it's so dark I don't ware it as often.

Lastly... UK Brand No 7 High Shine Lip Crayon Daydreamer - Another MLBB nude lipstick found in Target for $10.00 A mixture of L'Oreal and Urban Decay. Moisturizing but again it dries out my lip.

My friends says I have expensive lips that I cannot use drugstore lipsticks or lip gloss. Which is quite true but as you can see I still buy them as they are nice to try out and play with, without braking the bank.

You may ask why do I need all these nudes if they are all the same, it's because they are still very different. Different texture, color, and finish. I might do a PINK lipstick next. Let me know if you like this. Thank you for reading this far and have a wonderful lippie!
