Spring Glam 2 in 1 Look

The last video I posted was for a friend. What was cool was she tried the look out that evening and took a picture and send it to me. Oh, how much joy I had looking at the picture of someone recreating the look I just did. Now I totally understand the other YouTube makeup guru's why they have been doing this for years. I have on and off doing videos. (Mainly when my sister or a friend ask, as I get lazy editing and lose motivation as I feel like no one is watching. I don't get much comments or combats about my videos. But this year, I wanted to make this my hobby as the past 5 years I have been playing and buying LOTS of beauty products and I love sharing). What was even cooler was when I told her if she wanted me to make a look for her for to her to let me know. She told me she is going to her sister wedding on March 1st and will be wearing a yellow Kimono and would like to do a spring like look that goes with yellow. That evening I was getting more information from her and getting to know what she have and what she's interested. Then I came up with doing 2 look in 1 videos so she can practice and if she doesn't like one look she has another to fall back on. The looks are very similar but it's much brighter and one is smokier.

Editing issue, I was so frustrated when I was editing, technical difficulties I had to rerecord. (This is why I lose motivation doing lots of videos in the pass.) But I fought though it and if I need to re-edit to put in the new recorded look I will. Hope you enjoy and watch the video below.

Smokey Eyes for Mono Lid or Asian eyes

A friend recently tolde me she's just staring to play with some eyeshadows but doesn't know how to do it for her eyes as all the videos she watch are for people with more deep set eyes. She said she would like me to teach her. And low and behold I am starting to get back into my YouTube again and have been making videos and updating my blogs. So I told her I'll create some videos with her in mind. I gave her my channel name which I normally don't give to people I know as I feel a bit shy but when people as me to teach them something I am happy and willing to share. Funny enough, I was planning to do this look anyways, but with her request it gave me more of a motivation to get it done faster. So here's the first for you. SMOKEY EYES. I hope this help many more of you. Enjoy and I'll continue to make more like this. Thank you.

Sonia Kashuk Satin Luxe Lip Color

I've been talking a lot about the high end lipstick and nude color. But I just found a perfect drugstore lipstick that I am loving and been sporting for the pass week. I know, I know... another lip products? Well, I was never into lip products till the past 2 years and this past few months I am making up for it.

Sonia Kashuk Satin Luxe Lip Color in 82 Nude Pink, Yep! It's another nude pink color. In the store and the tube the color looks okay. But once you swatch it and ware it. OMG, this is so pretty. Nude pink with a little but of shimmery glitter sitting on your lips with the correct light bouncing off your lips to look full and sexy. A nice light enough pink that doesn't look brown that pucker up your lips, oh and it apply very creamy and doesn't dry out my lips like the higher end lip products. The packaging is much nicer than the other drugstore lipstick packaging and what surprising me is the little engraving on the top of the lipstick. It kind of make the lipstick looks a little bit more fancy than the other drugstore lipstick. This is about $9.99.

If you live in the U.S. go to your local Target store or go to their website www.target.com and grab one. I haven't tried the other colors but this is my new go to lipsticks for now.

Hope you enjoy this little review and thank you for reading to the end. Below you will see a swatch and how it looks on me.

Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette & It Cosmetics CC Cream

If you don't have Too Faced Chocolate Bar (the 1st one) you need to get it. I love that palette as it smells like yummy chocolate and it's very pigmented. It also blends very well. With that said lets talk about Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette, thank you to my God sister who gifted both palettes to me on my birthday and Christmas. Again this palette smells like chocolate because it's made out of coco powder. It is very pigmented, blends like magic and all the colors goes together. Between the two palette I like them both differently. The 2nd one supposed to be warmer tones but I would have to say it is a balance of warm and cool tone. I like both palettes and recommend them both, but if you have to choose one. I think the 2nd one is much more everyday colors and you can use that 1 blue color as a pop of color, blending as a liner on the bottom lash line and still works for everyday or you can use the dark brown/black shade as eye liner on top and bottom line. I am glad to say I have both palettes to play with and come up with lots of look, if you want some ideas oh how to use these palettes don't forget to check out my YouTube channel links below.

Now for the It Cosmetics CC Cream, what more can I say than I LOVE THIS CC CREAM and been wanting it for over 6 months when my co-worker lend me hers, thank you to my friend's mom who gifted this to me on Christmas. I didn't think I would like it that much as it's kind of dewy but actually I love it because it looks natural and not "cakey". I am Oily Combination skin and I like medium to full coverage. And this CC Cream is medium coverage and is buildable to full coverage, minimizes the look of pores, very light scent and does not irritate my skin. The color is very natural (I use the shade: Light and it is still dark for me in the winter but would be perfect once spring and summer comes around) and the product is loaded with beneficial ingredients. Best of all it has SPF 50+ which protects my skin from the sun from causing sun spots and wrinkles, it also have moisturizer containing snail secretion - very often used in Korean skincare, you can see my pervious post on the 2 items I am currently using that also contain snail.  Only thing is I would recommend powdering your face after the foundation. It comes in a pump form so that is a plus in my book. I absolutely love this product and totally recommend it. Happy shopping and hope this helps makes your decision.
