Been So Busy

Hello Beauties,

It's been a while since I've created a video or update on my blog. I know, I'm such a slacker. I just got a new job and have been so busy and been trying to get back to the swing of things. A few things that have come and gone in my life are some company outing since I've started, Nala's Birthday on June 19, 2015 which made her 5 years old. Time few by.

I am planning to post a few pictures of my OOTD (out fit of the day) inspiration of what I have been wearing to work as we have to ware business casual Monday though Thursday. Then hopefully soon, I will be able to get back to blogging more and editing/filming more videos.

MAC Cinderella Collection and Makeup Tutorial

Hello beauties, It's been a few weeks since I've updated anything. I have been lazy and trying to avoid editing my videos. I actually have 3 videos recorded but haven't found an easy way to edit them. SORRY!!! But today I have a new video up. As you can see on the title it's my MAC Cinderella Collection and a tutorial. (Many more will come shortly. Please bare with me, THANK YOU)

Long story short, I wanted 4 items from this collection and because the movie was coming out I knew it would be very hard to get my hands on them. So I schedule to get up early to shop online and got the eye shadow palette on the 1st date it launch, then got a hold of the lipstick on Macys.com when it launch that Monday before it was coming out at the MAC counter, then I went to the mall at 8 to line up to get the remaining 2 powders. You will see all of the items in action. So subscribe to my YouTube channel and any new videos will pop up on your feed when I upload them.

I went to watch the movie on the 2nd week as I wanted to avoid the crowed. And OH BOY the movie was so good because it matching the Disney cartoon so well. I must say I really love it and the costume is beautiful. I love Cinderella blue gown so much I went to get my own baby blue tutu skirt :). I might post a picture on my Instagram.

Taylor Swift Grammy 2015 Inspired Look

I was watching Grammy 2015 and was very inspired by Taylor Swift look. She was wearing this Ombre Turquois Blue dress and her makeup artist did her eyes to match it very nicely. I love the look so much that I wanted to do my take on it.

Spring Style 2015

Welcome back to my blogs. I have been so busy that I need to post something. Today I am going to share some style ideas with a basic white tank. I had this idea for a while, but just never gotten around to take some picture and share my tips. Hope this help with some basic items you already have at home.

Look #1: Lets start with a the basic color white, gray and navy [or any color you want to use]. With the basic white tank put on any sort of cardigan, for shoes which I forgot to take is a pair of nude flats or it can be gray or navy. If it is long and you want to show the form of you body, synch it with a white belt. The white belt would tie in the white tank to the whole outfit. the navy or any color cardigan you decide to use will be the pop of color and will keep you warm while it still a tad bit chilly out. I also pair it with a gray jersey maxi skirt which makes it more spring like. And I love gold with navy, I personally think the gold accessories just ties the whole look together and gives it the bling. Below you will see it in details.

 

 

Look #2: Now I am using the same basic white tank, Navy and cream stripe cardigan, red skinny jeans, and some brown boots. I decided to go with some brown boots so that the stand out piece is the red pants. You can also wear some brown ankle booties if you like. I think this look is well put together because there's a nice pop of color that is screaming SPRING TIME IS HERE. The strip cardigan give less some fun into the mix instead of all solid like the 1st look and this time I am pairing this look with rose gold accessories to make it different and people will do a double take. This look is also form fitting but without the belt there's some casualness. I don't have a shorter cardigan but you can wear a shorter one.

Spring Glam 2 in 1 Look

The last video I posted was for a friend. What was cool was she tried the look out that evening and took a picture and send it to me. Oh, how much joy I had looking at the picture of someone recreating the look I just did. Now I totally understand the other YouTube makeup guru's why they have been doing this for years. I have on and off doing videos. (Mainly when my sister or a friend ask, as I get lazy editing and lose motivation as I feel like no one is watching. I don't get much comments or combats about my videos. But this year, I wanted to make this my hobby as the past 5 years I have been playing and buying LOTS of beauty products and I love sharing). What was even cooler was when I told her if she wanted me to make a look for her for to her to let me know. She told me she is going to her sister wedding on March 1st and will be wearing a yellow Kimono and would like to do a spring like look that goes with yellow. That evening I was getting more information from her and getting to know what she have and what she's interested. Then I came up with doing 2 look in 1 videos so she can practice and if she doesn't like one look she has another to fall back on. The looks are very similar but it's much brighter and one is smokier.

Editing issue, I was so frustrated when I was editing, technical difficulties I had to rerecord. (This is why I lose motivation doing lots of videos in the pass.) But I fought though it and if I need to re-edit to put in the new recorded look I will. Hope you enjoy and watch the video below.
